On Thursday, March 30, the Lithuanian Government and the Lithuanian Prime Minister’s Office hosted a meeting with representatives from the American Jewish Committee in Vilnius following the opening of an AJC regional office in Warsaw, Poland.
The AJC delegation spen three days in Lithuania and celebrated Sabbath at the Lithuanian Jewish Community. The LJC and AJC enjoy friendly ties and have an agreement on joint work.
The new Warsaw bureau will serve Poland, the Baltic States, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
