The Ukmergė Jewish Community celebrated Purim together in high spirits on March 19.

Masked members of the Community sat around the table set for the festive occasion and recalled the Purim story from the Book of Esther. Everyone was delighted with the hamantashen with poppy seeds made by Community member Anita Albužienė. Ukmergė Jewish Community chairman Artūras Taicas wished everyone a bright, healthy and successful year to come.
