The Kaunas Jewish Community and the Sugihara Foundation “Diplomats for Life” have the pleasure of requesting your attendance at a concert. The concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Vladas Varčikas will feature his students, including:

Marija Pranskutė (violin), Stasys Makštutis (clarinet), Birutė Šernaitė (piano), Jolita Makštutienė (piano), actress Kristina Kazakevičiūtė and the recollections of Elena Andriuškevičienė (teacher, colleague of Varčikas. rescued from the Kaunas ghetto)
The concert program will include works by Telemann, Kreutzer, Gounod, Schubert, Paganini, Joachim, Haydn, Andersen, A. Dvořák, Rubinstein, Tchaikovsky, Dankla, Nichifor, Kovács and Ulevičius and recollections by director Kama Ginkas.
