We mourn the passing of the last Jew of Plungyán (Plungė, western Lithuania), 91 year old Yankl (Yosl) Bunk (Jakovas Bunka), fabled wood sculptor in the Lithuanian folk tradition, and one of the last speakers of Zámeter yidish (Yiddish of Zámet / Žemaitija).
